A pickup truck driver was arrested for DUI after rear-ending a semi-truck while on State Route 99 (SR 99) early Friday morning.

The driver was speeding when the crash occurred, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP). In addition to being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, the driver broke his leg in the crash.

Troopers are at a collision on NB SR-99 just north of SR-599. The pickup was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear ended the semi traveling at freeway speeds.
