ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Today marked the first of three days of Fall-themed fun at the Ithaca Commons for the 43rd annual Apple Harvest Festival , celebrating local farming, crafts and everything apples.

Friday, September 26th is the first of three days for Downtown Ithaca's Apple Festival. Ithaca Commons and parts of Cayuga and Geneva Streets are filled with all things apple all the way through Sunday.

As fall kicks off across the Finger Lakes, downtown Ithaca is spending all weekend celebrating apple-themed goods and treats, as well as an assortment of crafts and local entertainers. The festival provides a vibrant social landscape for locals and out-of-towners.
