JAYDEN Daniels will not play in his second consecutive game.
The Washington Commanders quarterback is once again sidelined due to a knee injury.
Commanders head coach Dan Quinn ruled Daniels out of Sunday's game on Friday.
Marcus Mariota will start in Daniels' place again in Week 4.
"He's working incredibly hard round the clock to get back," Quinn said.
"Ultimately doctors haven't cleared him just yet.
"He's absolutely doing everything he possibly can."
Daniels sprained his left knee in the Commanders' Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
He took a hit to his knee from a helmet at the end of a scramble in the fourth quarter of the game.
Daniels didn't exit the game, but was left with a hefty limp.
The Commanders aren't in too bad of shape without Daniels in the lineup though.
