AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A husband and wife opened up a new shop as a way to offer healthy options while also building community.

Scott and Brittany Queen opened Towne Center Nutrition near Athens about a year ago. Their daughter is a student at Auburn University and noticed the need for something similar here.

“We said, hey, this is potentially a good idea. There’s not many nutrition clubs out this way,” Scott explained.

Hurricane Helene proved ‘we were created for community’

When everyday life came to a halt, countless people dropped everything to help others in their time of need.

What started as an idea quickly became reality in just six months. Now, customers can stop by for a meal replacement shake, protein coffee or other healthy drinks to get their day started.
