IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - A video has been widely circulated and shows agents in plain clothes tackling Jorge Gonzalez as he was inside working at Bread Garden Market in Iowa City. ICE subdued him and then took him to an unmarked vehicle. Reports say Gonzalez was living at the Catholic Worker House.

Family members of Jorge Gonzalez and members of Escucha Mi Voz gathered in the Iowa City Ped Mall on Friday to make their statements and to “denounce” ICE.

“We’re feeling upset. We left our country, we left restitution, we left violence and we’re supposed to be here in a safe place,” said said his mother-in-law Ava Castro.
