NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Sinclair Broadcast Group and Nexstar Media Group are bringing back Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show to its ABC affiliate stations on Friday night.

Sinclair and Nexstar Media Group refused to air Kimmel’s talk show at their stations after ABC said Monday that it would reinstate his show nationally. It meant that many cities across the country were still unable to watch the comedian over the air.

But Sinclair reversed course Friday, and a few hours later, Nextar followed suit.

Sinclair said they decided to bring back Kimmel’s show after receiving feedback from viewers, advertisers and community leaders.
