PREP VOLLEYBALL

THS hosts tournament

Twenty-four teams will be in Bristol today to compete in the third annual Stateline Slam volleyball tournament.

Pool play begins at 9 a.m. with matches played at Viking Hall, Tennessee Middle School and the Bristol Sportsplex. The title match is tentatively scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Viking Hall.

Tennessee High, North Greene, Henderson, Greeneville, Cocke County, Rhea County, Happy Valley, Seymour, Clinton, Elizabethton, West Greene, Cumberland County, Unicoi County, South Greene, Anderson County, William Blount, Volunteer, Daniel Boone, Johnson County and Sevier County are TSSAA teams playing.

Rural Retreat, Ridgeview, Northwood and Patrick Henry will represent Southwest Virginia.
