Grammy-nominated music producer Metro Boomin has been found not liable in a sexual assault case brought by a Los Angeles woman, according to court papers obtained Friday.
A downtown Los Angeles jury reached a verdict of not guilty Thursday on all four claims of rape and sexual battery alleged by Vanessa LeMaistre in federal court.
The producer, whose real name is Leland T. Wayne, was initially sued by LeMaistre in October 2024. The woman claimed they were introduced on a 2016 trip to Las Vegas, and after taking a shot of alcohol and half a Xanax bar, awoke to find Wayne sexually assaulting her as she drifted in and out of consciousness.
Opening arguments in the trial began Tuesday in downtown Los Angeles.
