TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirms detectives are responding to a stabbing.

The PCSD says it happened near South Julian Drive and Palo Verde.

PCSD says the incident may have started on The Loop.

One person was stabbed and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The PCSD says the suspects were located after a search of the area.

Today’s incident comes just days after a bicyclist died after a confrontation on The Loop near First and Wetmore. in Tucson late Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The Tucson Police Department said Enrique Mercado was injured in an attack and died at a local hospital.
