ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Braves open a three-game series at Truist Park against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday, live on broadcast TV through Gray Media.
The Braves (75-84) just had a 10-game winning streak snapped by the Washington Nationals on Wednesday, but donât plan on lightening up with the Pirates in town. The season ends Sunday, and the Braves are prepping to have right-hander Charlie Morton make his final career start at Truist Park.
But for now, southpaw Joey Wentz takes the mound Friday while opposing Pirates right-hander Mitch Keller.
