HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — Pleasant Hill Road has become a popular route for drivers traveling between Moody Road and Watson Boulevard, with hundreds of cars passing daily.

To keep up with the increasing traffic and improve safety, Houston County Commission and the City of Warner Robins are partnering on a $2.6 million project to resurface South Pleasant Hill Road and add sidewalks.

For Marion Bradley, a local business owner at the corner of Watson Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Road, the upgrade is long overdue.

"I think that's fabulous," Bradley said. “They have been talking about taking care of this side of Pleasant for a long time.”

Her business, Balloons and Parties, has served the community from this location for 17 years, and she believes the improvements will benefit customers.
