AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - Hundreds of Ironmen and women are ready to go again in Augusta.

“It's just a great challenge. It's a great community. It's a great way to stay fit," said Lauren Campbell.

Ironman 70.3 competitors start off with more than a mile swim, then 56 miles on the bike, and cap it off with a 13 mile run.

"Crazy, yeah sure," said David Guete, who is from Colombia, South America.

It's a grueling affair, that might have a few competitors thinking 'what have a I gotten myself into?'

"You've said 'why did I sign up for this' right?"

"I say that every time," David Hall said with a laugh.

But last year, no one could beat Helene.

"We got about halfway here and got the call that the race was cancelled. We turned around in West Virginia and went back home to Ohio. We were really
