SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A $5,000 reward is being offered for information in connection with the homicide of 20-year-old Bryan Garcia that happened outside a house party about 1:01 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, in the 1400 block of Lorena Street in Sparks.

Secret Witness issued the reward on Friday, Sept. 26.

Sparks Police was alerted by its ShotSpotter system that detects gunshots.

When officers arrived, they found a Sparks man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Garcia was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

A 15-year-old female was also hit. She was driven to a local hospital treatment.

She is in stable condition.
