Family setting up basketball scholarship for N.J. teen fatally struck riding e

The family of a teenager who was fatally struck while riding his e-bike is setting up a basketball scholarship in his name.

Nico Lombardi, 13, of Scotch Plains, was hit by a landscaping truck on Wednesday at the intersection of Mountain and Mountainview avenues in Scotch Plains, authorities said. He died at the hospital later that day.
