HINTON, WV (WVNS) -- The Summers County Humane Society is looking for some help for two-legged friends in the community.

Christina Cochran, President of the Summers County Humane Society said they're looking for homes for several dogs whose adoption fees have been sponsored by Ziegler & Ziegler Law Firm.

She said they had a Code Yellow not too long ago, where they were at risk of talks of euthanasia being brought up, but luckily several dogs were adopted.

Now they're getting close again with a few litters of puppies that have been brought in.

Cochran said there's one item they desperately need right now.
