SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Some new Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) merchandise is going viral on social media. The problem is that BART says it didn't know anything about it.
The Brooklyn-based retailer BAGGU just opened up a new San Francisco location in the city's Mission District neighborhood with some BART inspired merch. It features the BART logo on shirts, water bottles and hats.
BART tells KRON4 that they were surprised to see their logo. "It would be nice if BAGGU reached out to us and perhaps shared some of the profits since we are in a financial crisis."
KRON4 has since heard from BAGGU who said they are now in touch with BART about an official collaboration.
