WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - There is still plenty to celebrate at The Big E, including the region’s agriculture and farming community. Plenty of farmers and producers are showing off and even selling their freshly made products.

Dr. Sherry Holt is a veterinarian at Grey Log Farm and Veterinary in Middlefield, “I sell eggs at the farm. I have chickens, obviously. Peacocks, quail, a lot of birds.”

For the first time, she and her business are a vendor for one of the most well-known days on The Big E calendar: Harvest New England Day. For those who do not know, Harvest New England Day is a way to recognize and celebrate the farming and agricultural heritage in the region.
