KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Greene County family continues to rebuild their home after it was destroyed in the flooding from Helene.

WVLT News spoke with the Craig family right after the flooding hit East Tennessee. The family’s home was destroyed filled with mud and trees destroyed on their 15-acre property.

There’s been a lot of work done on their property since the flood hit their home.

“The magnitude of the people that came to our rescue was amazing. It brought us both to tears several times between local churches giving us donations and friends and family helping us,” David Craig said.
