Off a balanced passing and rushing attack, Cedar Cliff football on Friday defeated Chambersburg, 35-7, behind a two-touchdown performance from quarterback Jalen Hinton and running back Landon Howell.
Hinton finished 7-for-12 on his passes and logged two touchdowns off 128 passing yards, while Howell ran for 110 rushing yards off 14 carries and took two touchdown runs to the house. Owen Anastasi and Tywuan Byrd accounted for Hinton’s two touchdown passes – Anastasi pulling in 62 receiving yards and Byrd recording 26 yards.
Trojan quarterback Cam Green logged one passing touchdown off 193 yards and went 16-for-27 in completions on the night.
