The governing body of football in England will launch an urgent safety review following the freak death of a 21-year-old former Arsenal youth player.

Billy Vigar died after sustaining a “significant brain injury” during a lower-league football match in England.

Vigar, who also played on loan for Derby, was hurt early in a game at Wingate & Finchley FC. He reportedly sustained the injury when he collided with a wall at the side of the field.
