MANDATA, Pa. (WHTM) -- Friday's game between Line Mountain and Steelton-Highspire was a tale of high-powered offense.
The undefeated Eagles of Line Mountain (5-0) hosted division rival Steelton-Highspire (3-1) in a Mid-Penn Capital bout at Glenn Ressler Field in Mandata.
Line Mountain struck first with a 57-yard touchdown pass from senior signal-caller Kaiden Maurer to freshman Henry Malfara.
The Rollers answered later in the first quarter in dramatic fashion.
Junior quarterback Kayden Cole Stephens handed off to senior rusher Jerome Ross III who ran it back nearly 80 yards to the house. A two-point conversion failed, making it 7-6 Line Mountain. • Kaylee Lindenmuth / abc27 News • Kaylee Lindenmuth / abc27 News • Kaylee Lindenmuth / abc27 News • Kaylee Lindenmuth / abc27 News
