James Gunn is opening up about this week’s surprise cameo on a new episode of Peacemaker !

The writer and director, and co-head of DC Studios , wrote in a cameo for a character from Superman on the DC series, tying the two projects together as part of the new interconnected DCU.

In a new interview, James explains the cameo appearance and reveals how David Corenswet felt about it not being him.

When asked if we could see David appearing on the show as a version of Superman, Gunn told Variety , “No. In fact, David was very upset that Nick got to be on the show, and he didn’t. It just didn’t work.”
