YOUNGSTOWN Concert-goers enjoyed a night of live music at Wean Park in downtown Youngstown.

JAC Live and JAC Management Group brought headliner John Mayer to play for the first night of the two-day Y-Live concert event.

Bars and restaurants welcomed in the crowds, giving a substantial boost to businesses downtown.

Originally, Y-Live was supposed to be one show headlined by country music icon Tim McGraw.

He was scheduled to perform on August 2, 2024, at Wean Park for Y-Live 2024.

The Realty Building explosion happened shortly before the 2024 event was scheduled to take place, leading to the decision to postpone McGraw's performance for a year.

To make up for the lost year, John Mayer was booked to play Friday night, bringing in a large crowd and a lot of excitement.
