A TV building expert has said Irish people need to rediscover the forgotten construction skills of their ancestors as a way of getting over the current housing crisis.

Harrison Gardner has just helped several families build their own homes for season two of Build Your Own Home , which starts on RTÉ One on Wednesday, October 1.
