Dolly Parton Postpones Las Vegas Concerts Due to Health Issues

Dolly Parton has announced the postponement of her upcoming Las Vegas concerts due to health concerns. The 79-year-old country music star shared the news on social media, stating that she is facing some health challenges and will need to undergo medical procedures.

Parton was scheduled to perform six sold-out shows at Caesars Palace in December 2025. However, she has rescheduled these performances for September 2026. In her message to fans, she maintained her signature humor, saying, "It must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it's not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!"

She emphasized the importance of being fully prepared for her shows, explaining, "In all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that you want to see, and the show that you deserve to see." Parton expressed her commitment to delivering the best performance possible, stating, "You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you."

While she will be taking time off from performing, Parton assured her fans that she will continue to work on her projects from Nashville. "I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say," she said.

Parton also reassured her followers that she is not retiring. "Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet," she said. She believes that this time is an opportunity to slow down and prepare for future endeavors.

Earlier this month, Parton revealed that a kidney stone had caused her to miss a Dollywood event. She shared that the stone led to an infection, and her doctor advised her to rest. "You don’t need to be traveling right this minute, so you need a few days to get better," she recalled being told.

As she focuses on her health, Parton promises her fans that she will return to the Las Vegas stage ready to deliver the performance they expect and deserve.
