Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a transformative Rs 50,000-crore development initiative during the ‘Namo Yuva Samabesh’ event in Jharsuguda aimed at accelerating India’s infrastructure and digital growth.

At the event, thousands gathered to witness the unveiling of projects that span telecom, railways, education, and housing.

A standout feature of the initiative is the commissioning of over 97,500 telecom towers, built using indigenous technologies. These towers are expected to dramatically improve mobile and internet connectivity in:

Maoist-affected districts
