Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “the world’s most popular leader” and an inspiration while welcoming him to Jharsuguda on behalf of 4.5 crore people of the state.

CM Majhi called Modi’s visit a moment of joy for Odisha, invoking Lord Jagannath and recalling that Modi had laid the foundation stone of Veer Surendra Sai Airport eight years ago. “Today, this airport is giving momentum to the development of western Odisha,” he noted.

Majhi highlighted Modi’s role in shaping India’s security posture, referencing the country’s response to the Pahalgam massacre. He also reminded the gathering of welfare and development initiatives, including the Subhadra Yojana, launched last year, which now benefits over one crore women with Rs 10,000 annually.
