Shea Langeliers hit the tiebreaking double with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Athletics a 4-3 walk-off victory over the Kansas City Royals on Friday night at West Sacramento, Calif.

Jacob Wilson delivered a three-run double to help the cause as the Athletics (76-84) won for the 10th time in their past 14 games.

Jonathan India smacked a three-run homer for the Royals (80-80), who lost for the third time in five games.

Luinder Avila (1-1) entered with one out in the bottom of the ninth for the Royals and gave up a single to Darell Hernaiz. Brett Harris followed by hitting a potential double-play ball but second baseman India couldn't get the ball moving on the relay and Harris reached safely.
