Mona the Vampire was a cornerstone of every millennial's after-school viewing routine , first gracing TV screens in 1999 and running for four seasons.

The Canadian programme, broadcast into childhood living rooms via CBBC, centred around the imaginative Mona Parker who was convinced her hometown was infested with monsters.

Assuming her alter ego Mona the Vampire, she would save her town from these creatures, aided by her cat and close friends Lily Duncan and Charley Bones. When it came to battling monsters, her mates also adopted their own alter-egos, Princess Giant and Zapman respectively.
