Taking a tough stand on the incident in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday warned rioters that any attempt to disrupt peace would be met with a decisive response while saying that

“The Maulana in Bareilly seemed to forget whose government is in power. He threatened to block roads, but we made it clear: no roadblocks, no curfew. We will send such a strong message that even future generations will hesitate to riot,” the CM said at a public event in Jharsuguda.

Yogi highlighted that since 2017, his government has dealt firmly with rioters, responding “in a language they understand.” This strict approach, he said, has ushered in a new era of peace and security, laying the foundation for Uttar Pradesh’s rapid development.
