Behind a hat trick of passing touchdowns from Drew Cella, Hunterdon Central secured a 28-14 win over Union in Flemington.

Hunterdon Central did most of its damage in the second quarter, firing in three touchdowns before adding one more in the third.

In the second quarter, Cella connected with James Mongno for two passing touchdowns from nine and 39 yards out.

Mongno finished the night with four catches for 68 yards to go with his two scores.

In between Mongno’s touchdowns, Nick Vasquez rumbled into the end zone on a 17-yard run. Vasquez came back for more in the third quarter, giving Cella his third touchdown through the air on a 31-yard reception.

Cella finished the game 10-of-18 passing for 198 yards and a trio of scores.
