SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Sioux City Police responded to a stabbing Friday night, Sept. 26, which left one person dead.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 600 block of 14th Street in Sioux City.
Officers located a man suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. The victim was transported by Sioux City Fire Rescue to UnityPoint Hospital for treatment, but later died from his injuries.
Police say the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause of death. The victim’s identity is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
