Syracuse (3-1, 1-0 ACC) enters a home contest against Duke (2-2, 1-0) as winners of its last three games. Last week, the Orange led Clemson from start to finish and won 34-21 to mark its first-ever victory in Death Valley.

But Syracuse’s biggest win of the season didn’t come without some bad news. Notre Dame-transfer quarterback Steve Angeli, who had been leading the nation in passing yards, tore his Achilles tendon late in the third quarter and is out for the season.
