Coventry City inflicted the heaviest defeat of Chris Davies’ managerial career on Birmingham City with a 3-0 beating at the CBS Arena.

The Sky Blues dominated the Midlands derby between two Championship promotion hopefuls with goals from Brandon Thomas-Asante, Bright Osayi-Samuel (OG) and Victor Torp.

Blues weren’t helped by a red card for Jack Robinson in the first half that all but killed their hopes of taking something back to St Andrew’s.

A late injury in the warm up to Marvin Ducksch, which resulted in Lyndon Dykes replacing him in the starting line-up, was an omen for how Blues’ day would pan out.
