Warren police arrested a female motorist Friday night after she allegedly intentionally struck multiple people at several locations in Warren with her Jeep.

According to Warren police public information officer Lt. John Gajewski, the woman was driving a black 2019 Jeep Compass with her child inside when she allegedly struck multiple people at several locations on Van Dyke Avenue north of 12 Mile Road. She then drove to the Tech Plaza Walmart parking lot where she attempted to strike more people but only caused property damage.

The driver fled from officers through the parking lot until she was stopped after striking two parked vehicles.

As officers took her into custody, she bit and kicked an officer according to Gajewski.

No civilians or officers were seriously injured.
