Newman Catholic 28, West Fork 21

The Newman Knights gave the West Fork Warhawks their first loss of the season after a strong first quarter performance. The Knights held the keys to victory in their hand and never let go in their homecoming game. Newman Catholic was able to limit the rushing game of the Warhawks, holding them to just 176 yards. Dax Suntken led West Fork with 85 yards and two touchdowns.

Northwood-Kensett 21, North Iowa 14

Northwood-Kensett is back in the win column. The offense took a while to get started but struck all at once with a barrage of offense in the second quarter. The Vikings scored all of their 21 points in the second. N-K played lights out defensively, intercepting quarterback Talan Jacobsen four times.
