Paw Paw football hasn’t had any trouble carrying the rock across its history, as a myriad of standouts have made their marks.
But none have done it better than Ben Miller.
The star senior running back proved that by rewriting Paw Paw’s record books on Friday, becoming the program’s all-time leading rusher with an incredible 289-yard, five-touchdown performance that led the Red Wolves to a 39-0 victory over Plainwell.
Miller’s record-breaking performance earned him MLive Kalamazoo Friday Night Hero honors.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound do-it-all ball carrier could not be stopped en route to history, scoring five of Paw Paw’s six touchdowns –– including rushing scores of 22, 49, 74, 67 and 13 yards to hand the Red Wolves their second straight victory.
