A 12-year-old Flagler County boy was arrested after deputies say he threatened to stab another child during a heated argument in a group chat.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on Sept. 25 when a concerned parent reported that their son had received a disturbing message. Deputies say the message included a photo of a box containing 15 knives and brass knuckles, followed by texts threatening to stab the victim.

One of the messages allegedly read, "I’ll stab your [expletive] [expletive] wit all this illegal [expletive]."
