More than 1,000 cyclists are expected to take to Oahu roads Sunday morning for the Honolulu Century Ride.

The Hawaii Bicycling League’s marquee event and fundraiser is now in its 42nd year as part of the Ride Aloha Festival, which includes a weekend of related events. The ride is open to people of all ages and abilities.

The full 100-mile Century Ride starts at sunrise at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki, heads over Diamond Head Road, then through Kahala, along the South Shore to Hawaii Kai, then past Makapuu to Kailua, Kaneohe and the windward coast. The turnaround point is at Swanzy Beach Park in Kaaawa, with the finish line at Kapiolani Park.
