SALEM, N.H. —

A motorcycle operator who was found unconscious after a crash Friday night in Salem was taken to the hospital, first responders said.

The Salem Fire Department said after 10 p.m., they got a call for a crash on Cluff Road in the area of Kensington Place.

First responders found a 27-year-old man unconscious about 25 feet into the woods and the motorcycle was found about 40 feet into the woods, authorities said.

The man was taken to Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, Massachusetts, it's unclear what his condition is.

Firefighters used a thermal imager to make sure there was no one else involved, the fire department said. The motorcycle was the only one involved.
