NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches Dragons picked up their fourth win of the year on Friday night. The four wins are the most for a Dragon team in the Darby House era.

KLTV Sports Director Michael Coleman and KTRE Sports Director Ryan Smith broke down the game on Red Zone Overtime. Freshman quarterback Jalen Garrett and senior receiver Micah Lockett connected three times in the first half for touchdowns.

“Basically, Nacogdoches, for pretty much the entire first half, dialed up to throw the deep ball to the gold medalist high jumper from a year ago,” said Smith. “It’s looked really good so far, and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for the rest of the season.”

Nacogdoches has the week off before returning to action on Oct. 10 against Hallsville.
