LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Beautiful weather will kick off the week with little change for the next several days.

The theme of low humidity, cool mornings and warm days will continue Sunday. We’ll start with low 60’s or upper 50’s for temperatures at sunrise, then warm into the upper 80’s beneath plenty of sunshine. Any outdoor plans continue to be in excellent shape!

The forecast won’t change much early in the week as we continue to see sunshine and low humidity through Wednesday. Morning lows may tick up a little, but we still should remain in the 60’s for now.

It probably will take until the end of the week for some rain chances at all to return as slightly higher humidity works in. Even then, those chances appear limited for now but we’ll monitor trends early this week.
