Strictly Come Dancing fans were left hailing Claudia Winkleman as she was forced to style out a 'blunder' during the first live show of the series.

The presenter was back in the ballroom on Saturday night (September 27) alongside co-host Tess Daly as the competition got underway with the first performances of the BBC dance series this year.

Former England rugby player Chris Robshaw and his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova opened the show with a samba to EMF’s Unbelievable, scoring just 14, while Nadiya joked the dance was the “scrumba” now.

Meanwhile, former Olympian and BBC Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey was moved to tears following his first performance on the 2025 series.
