Ava Lyijynen’s 15 kills and 10 digs propelled Red Land girls volleyball to a 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19) win over Gettysburg Saturday.

Lyijynen was just two aces short of a triple-double, finishing the matchup with eight.

Addie Wagenheim led the Patriots with 11 digs. Alena Imamovic added eight kills, and Jasmine Coble earned a team-high six kills.

Red Land moved to 7-6 with the victory. Gettysburg has now lost five straight matches, dropping to 4-8 on the season.
