Skaneteales’ first-year kicker Sam Ryan positioned himself for a field goal with three seconds left in the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ game against Holland Patent on Friday night.

With the outcome of the game resting squarely on his right foot and two Golden Knights defenders tearing into the backfield to block the kick, Ryan stayed calm and knocked in a 35-yard field goal.
