One person was injured in a targeted shooting in Chilliwack on Friday evening.
RCMP say at about 9:45 p.m. officers were called to a property on Crimson Ridge for a report of shots fired outside of the home.
When they arrived they found one person suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Police found several shell casings and blood outside the house.
According to the RCMP, several neighbouring houses were also struck by bullets. No one in those residences was injured.
Police believe this was a targeted shooting and related to gang conflict in B.C.
A burnt Mazda CX5 was located nearby in the area of Teskey Way and Bailey Road. Investigators are trying to figure out if it’s connected to the shooting.
