Callum McGregor has dismissed Hearts’ table topping form - insisting Aberdeen were proof last season that fast starts count for nothing. ‌

The Jambos are two points clear of the Hoops after winning five and drawing one of their opening six games. ‌

But after Celtic were shut out by Hearts’ capital rivals Hibs in Saturday’s stalemate , McGregor insisted he wasn’t paying any attention to the top of the table. ‌

“It’s such a long season and there is so much football to be played. We’re thinking about performances and getting up to speed.
