MARLTON, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Memories of 1976 were unearthed today by a Marlton family.
Decades ago, they buried a time capsule with photographs, newspapers, and souvenirs from the time period.
Today, they rediscovered what was inside for the very first time.
"We're opening it this year because our family has a history of ALS. We've lost a cousin and two uncles to ALS, and my sister was diagnosed mid-June of this year with having ALS. And we just wanted to have this opportunity for all of us to remember," said Suzanne Hauswalt.
"I feel like we have a really rich family history and it is precious to me to this day...I can imagine that my dad and my uncles would all be like: 'This is great.' This is what they wanted," said Linda Paugh.
