SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Heavy rain and flooding in Sevier County has caused at least one landslide and multiple road closures, county officials shared.

Just before noon, the Sevier County Emergency Management Agency shared that multiple roads were closed due to flooding. Those roads included Wiley Oakley Drive/Sunset Lane, Ridge Road at Compost Plant, and Burden Hill Road/Eastgate Road.

Additionally the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Sevier County EMA shared that the Gatlinburg Bypass was closed due to a landslide. Photos from the EMA show mud covering the road with several smaller trees laying in the roadway.
