EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - There was a walk to end alzheimer’s in Evans on Saturday.

The money raised from the walk is going to the Alzheimer’s Association.

More than 400 people registered, and nearly 80 teams signed up to walk the Evans Towne Center Park on Saturday morning.

One of the organizers of the event spoke about contributing to ending the disease.
